ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

Whether you are seeking to access support services, resources or funding there always appears to be a mountain of paperwork to wade through and this can often make people feel overwhelmed and anxious, sometimes leaving many withdrawing and not progressing forward to access the much-needed services. A high percentage of people who might benefit from support in such a key area are those with a Neurodiverse Condition such as Autism.  If you feel you or someone you know might require support in any of the following areas:  Benefits  Housing Education Health & Social Care And you think you might benefit from having some support with the administrative side of your life, then get in contact with Lisa today.  *Please get in contact to discuss the details of your package before booking - Prices start from £25 P/Hr*

ADVOCACY SUPPORT

According to the Equality and Human Rights Commissioner, Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. They apply regardless of where you are from, what you believe or how you choose to live your life. They can never be taken away, although they can sometimes be restricted – for example if a person breaks the law, or in the interests of national security. These basic rights are based on shared values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect, and independence. Now here is the important thing to remember, which is why I have underlined this statement.  These values are defined and protected by law. I could write a book for this section because the voices of so many Autistics, Neurodiverse and Disabled people are just not being heard and that’s before we even begin to consider the other vulnerably populated groups such as those in the Racial & Ethnic Minority, LGBTQ+  Elderly and Low-income families.  They are all equal and valued individuals and each one is an integral part of society, they therefore deserve the same rights as everyone else and if for whatever reason they aren’t being heard, then they should be supported to do so because their thoughts and opinions really do matter.  This is why having the right Advocacy Support can be vital. Someone who not only understands but will be on hand to offer the right guidance, provide direction, and give advice as and when it's needed. More importantly, though, they can ensure your voice is not only heard but LISTENED TO through collaborative working and using good communication skills.  If you think you might benefit from having this type of specific support, then get in contact with Lisa today for a chat.   *Please get in contact to discuss the details of your package before booking - Prices start from £25 P/Hr*

TRAINING SUPPORT

I have had the pleasure of meeting many Autistic and Neurodivergent individuals over the years and although I may have noted similarities with some people, never have I ever met anyone who experiences life in the same way as another, and why would I? Everyone is different and how they see and experience the world around them will of course be unique to them. Now although we’ve travelled forward in the whole “Raising Awareness” thing, we still come face to face with those who think one size fits all and this is just not the case. This is one of the main reason’s I’m so passionate about creating and delivering bespoke packages, yes it's true, it’s possible to deliver something generic, but this will give more of a subject overview. Autism isn’t Generic and neither is the world we live in nor is its Autistic Community, which in my opinion is forever evolving. Whether you are looking for: · Face to Face · Virtual · Information Sharing · Q&A’s · One:One & / or Group sessions Topics for training can include but not specific too: · Understanding Myself · Communication · Interpretation & Understanding · Feelings & Emotions · Transitions through Life · Learning through Experience · Challenging Behaviour If you are interested in a training package tailored to suit your specific needs, then get in contact with Lisa today for a chat. *Please get in contact to discuss the details of your package before booking - Prices start from £25 P/Hr*

Transitions of life icon

TRANSITIONS OF LIFE SUPPORT

Transitions happen naturally for everyone and occur frequently throughout the day and typically happen without many individuals putting much thought into it. They mainly require individuals to stop an activity, move from one location to another, and begin something new. Transitions can happen in a variety of settings such as the home, educational setting, or in the workplace and on the whole don’t cause much disruption to a person’s routine and, or day. However, Autistic and Neurodiverse people can find transitions extremely challenging, and this can be anything from task shifting to routine changes to health & or social events such as returning to school, study, work after a leave of absence or a holiday, or maybe a new, unknown experience such as new relationship, friendship, home, school, job etc or it could be anything in between. Many Autistic people struggle with the unpredictability and loss of control that Transitions offer which in turn can lead to other challenges and at times, health related issues such as: · Challenging Behaviour · Masking · Anxiety Disorder · Self-Harming · Eating Disorder · Depression · Inspirational Speeches If you think that you or someone you know would benefit from targeted support in this area then please, don’t delay, get in contact with Lisa today so that you can discuss your very own tailor-made package. *Please get in contact to discuss the details of your package before booking - Prices start from £25 P/Hr*

MENTOR SUPPORT SERVICE

There are several employment support initiatives available that offer either Autism Specific Employment Support or Generic Employment Support Programmes who offer adaptions thus making the programme more inclusive. All viable and acceptable options, however, the common denominator in each programme is “Employment” rather than being “Individualised” and / or “Bespoke” which means the content and how each programme is delivered would have great similarities. Whilst each step of the employment programme is as equally important as the next, there are many Autistic and Neurodivergent individuals who continue to fall between the cracks. Many have said this is due to vital stages being missing which is why I would like to help you connect the dots by offering you my Mentor Support Service. Mentoring is to support and encourage people to manage their own learning in order that they maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance, and become the person they want to be. If you think that you or someone you know would benefit from targeted support in this area then please, don’t delay, get in contact with Lisa today so that you can discuss your very own tailor-made package. *Please get in contact to discuss the details of your package before booking - Prices start from £25 P/Hr*
